Internal communications

The world of employee engagement is hugely exciting. It’s all about creating compelling campaigns that inspire changes in behaviour. The actual outputs of any campaign can vary depending on the challenge and the scale of the organisation. You can find out more details of elements of our offer in the Understand, Create and Measure sections.
Whatever the programme we are working on, whatever the client’s sector, we have a tried and trusted basic approach to internal comms that has been proved time and again to work:
- Create a sense of excitement
- Use that excitement to generate engagement
- Through engagement, recognise the success of colleagues
This approach, properly reinforced through regular comms and campaigns, creates a virtuous circle of success.
Social purpose
Increasingly, people want to know they have joined an organisation that is doing good for society and the planet. In addition, they want to benefit from being part of a team that cares for them as individuals.
For many years, Wardour has been a champion of the social purpose agenda, and much of our work in internal comms now focuses on showing colleagues how their work contributes to a better world. Key issues that we frequently cover in internal communications campaigns cover social purpose themes such as:
- The climate crisis
- Sustainability
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Diversity and inclusion
