Where has your career taken you so far?
A small creative agency, a worldwide outdoor advertising agency, a cigarette agency (this was mis-sold as they said we would be working on other non-tobacco brands, but that never happened) so I decided to leave and join a communications agency.
What does your role at Wardour involve?
Working alongside editors to create layouts for publications within a company’s brand guidelines to communicate the desired content. Also, working on the digital aspect of animating videos and graphics for visual storytelling purposes.
What are some of the most exciting projects you’ve worked on at Wardour?
Loads of projects! Heineken, as they are loud and open to design ideas. Dolfin, as I was the sole designer on the project so it was rewarding to see it through from start to finish. And also ARUP.
What do you like most about working for Wardour?
The people who are all friendly and approachable, and the variety of the work.
When you’re not designing great content, what do you like doing?
Growing my own veg/gardening (being outdoors), interior designing my house I recently moved into. Cooking, love using fresh ingredients and trying new recipes, and linking it back to growing my own veg to make things more organic and reducing my carbon footprint.
What’s the best and worst thing about office life?
The best is being social and the worst has to be travelling on the tube (too over-crowded and extremely uncomfortable in the summer).
What’s your favourite ‘task’ at work and why?
Research as you stumble across some great ideas and inspiration. Likewise, I like the group 'show and tell' as you can be absorbed by others in their design and styles/techniques. This adds to us developing and evolving as designers.
Surprise us! Tell us something your fellow Wardour team members might not know about you.
I’ve never seen the film Grease. Whenever other people find this out they are always in complete shock and appalled haha.
