Martin MacConnol
CEO
Martin MacConnol is an actively involved CEO, helping many clients with their content communications strategies.
Prior to founding the agency in 1996, Martin was a career journalist, working in local tabloid papers before moving to London for the Daily Express and then the Financial Times.
Between 2008 and 2010 he sat on the main board of the PPA (the Professional Publishers Association) and was chairman of the customer publishing trade group, the APA (the Association of Publishing Agencies). These roles, combined with his agency work on accounts for clients as diverse as UBS and Heineken give him great insight into the world of content communications.
He was awarded membership of Communicators in Business (now the Institute of Internal Communications) in 2005 in recognition of his work in the world of internal communications.
As well as an MA in history from Cambridge, Martin is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts and holds a Diploma in Journalism from Westminster Press.
